Map of Freeport area in 1861, then named Bridgeville. Lot 13, then owned by Elias B. Snyder, became the home for Shantz farms in 1877 and for a century after.
Farm buildings of Jacob E. and Lydia Shantz and family and later of Benjamin and Myra Shantz and family. At the top of the Freeport hill by old Highway 8. Now at about 3800 King Street East, Kitchener, Ontario.
